The Jobs Australia 2017 National Conference will be held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Hobart on the 2nd and 3rd of November.

It has been another year of relentless change and pressure for employment and community services leaders and managers. If you've been wondering where it's all heading and how to stick to your mission, in the wake of the reforms sweeping through the sector, then the Jobs Australia Conference is the place for you to regain equilibrium and feel more empowered.

The Conference program has been designed to give you strategies to deal with the demands of your workplace and return to work re-charged. The Conference this year will focus on the strategies you need to make your own futures and covers a wide range of topics that matter most to CEOs, CFOs, Board members and HR managers of your not-for-profit organisation.

There will be valuable sessions for employment services providers including on jobactive, DES, TtW and PaTH EST to help you tackle the current and future changes that impact your organisations. The sessions will help your organisation increase your creativity, adaptability, flexibility and to integrate new technologies and practices into the way you work and engage.

It has already been a busy year for conferences but we can confidently say we have saved the best until last!  Expect the usual laughs, entertainment, great company and critical insights from a stellar line up of expert commentators tailored specific to our sector and our needs.

The program includes:

Monday 1 November - Two Masterclasses and one Forum:

  • Strategies for the new DES Masterclass
  • Chief Financial Officers' Masterclass
  • CDP Forum

Tuesday 2 & Wednesday 3 November - Main Conference
